ATD emolda manufactures a range of components and sub-assemblies for the medical device industry. ATD emolda has recently launched the AbdermaTM range of products - a Wound Care Foam, and a Foam incorporating a high Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate (MVTR) film.
The entire range of AbdermaTM wound care foam offers superior fluid handling properties. The absorption and retention rates of this innovative material allied to its strength, incredible rate of absorption, processability and softness make this the ideal material for Wound Care applications. AbdermaTM foams are biocompatible and do not discolour under sterilisation. The chemistry associated with our innovative manufacturing technique allows for conversion/processing to a wide range of Wound Care, Feminine Hygiene and other Personal Health products. The AbdermaTM foam range is available in a range of sizes and thicknesses (typically 2 – 6 mm) in two forms; a high quality foam and a high quality foam incorporating a class leading MVTR (Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate) breathable, protective polyurethane film.
ATD emolda will develop and manufacture a range of materials for use Wound Care products. These innovative materials will provide a paradigm shift in wound care technology and provide a platform for the further development of this technology in the area of new anti-microbial materials and novel active/intelligent materials for the Wound Care sector. By adopting a partnership approach we can identify gaps in the market and tailor products for specific applications and ultimately deliver better outcomes for patients with complex Wound Care requirements.
