Vice President of Research and Development
Vittorio Morizio is a top-level executive with longstanding global experience leading Medical Device companies to best in class. Mr. Morizio has had a successful career in Operations with international experience spanning across various sectors such as Medical Devices, Automotive, Furniture and Chemicals.
Mr. Morizio is currently Vice President of Research and Development in the Cardiopulmonary and Advanced Circulatory Support at LivaNova and is responsible for product portfolio management with a focus on product lifecycle. He manages an International team located in 4 sites across Europe and North America.
Prior to this role, Mr. Morizio covered other several roles in Livanova: Vice President of Operations and R&D for Heart Valves, Operations, Supply Chain and R&D for Cardiopulmonary and Operational Excellence, driving a number of strategic operations initiatives. Mr. Morizio has had an extensive career in Manufacturing and Operations working across various organizations such as Sorin, Natuzzi and Fiat. During his career, Mr. Morizio has demonstrated strong capability in developing and implementing industrial plans with a focus on achieving Operational Excellence through automation, Lean-6 Sigma and Industry 4.0 principles.
